Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro (UD) has been updated to MIUI 12.0.2.0 China Stable ROM and August 2020 security patch. The update brings software version V12.0.2.0.QECCNXM and currently being rolled out in China. But thanks to the awesome community the Mi 8 Pro (UD)’s MIUI V12.0.2.0.QECCNXM China ROM is made available for download, so anyone who wants to flash the ROM manually on Mi 8 Pro (UD) can do that.
FYI, the current update is a Chinese Stable ROM which means only those devices running on a China ROM, will get the update via OTA. Otherwise, you have to install it manually. The update is based on Android 10.
You can manually check the software update on your device whether it’s available on your device or not. Head over to the device Settings –> About Phone –> Check for Software Update. The update will be rolled out globally in an incremental manner and it should take some time to appear on all the units.
