Vivo has launched another mid-flagship range smartphone called ‘Vivo iQoo Neo’ gaming smartphone in China. It’s worth mentioning that the Vivo iQoo and Vivo iQoo 5G are the two flagship-grade iQoo-series devices. The new device is powered by last year’s flagship chipset Snapdragon 845 and features a triple rear camera setup as well. It’s paired up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage as well.
Vivo has released the new iQoo lineup for gaming segment earlier this year including Vivo iQoo gaming smartphone in China. Then the company has launched iQoo 5G at the MWC Shanghai and now the iQoo Neo in July 2019. It sports a waterdrop-style notch display with gaming features like liquid cooling, game space, e-sports mode, touch acceleration, and more. Check out the device specifications in brief.
Vivo iQoo Neo Specifications
The Vivo iQoo Neo runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Funtouch OS 9 out-of-the-box. It packs a 6.38-inches Full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. The display is a Super AMOLED screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and supports in-display fingerprint sensor. The handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, Adreno 630 GPU, and coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. The storage is up to 128GB onboard
While the rear side features a triple rear camera setup of a 12MP primary sensor with dual-pixel tech and an f/1.79 lens + an 8MP wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture lens. There is also a 2MP third camera on the back with an f/2.4 aperture lens. On the front side, the Vivo iQoo Neo packs a 12MP selfie camera with dual-pixel technology and an f/2.0 aperture lens as well. It supports AI beautification and the Face Unlock feature.
The handset packs a decent 4,500 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support. It also includes a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS, and 4G VoLTE. The phone measures 159.53 x 75.23 x 8.13 mm and weigh around 198.5 grams.
Vivo iQoo Neo Price and Availability
The new iQoo Neo price starts at CNY 1,798 (Rs.18,100 approx) for the base variant with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. While the 6GB + 128GB variant, 8GB + 64GB variant, and 8GB + 128GB storage variants of the phone will be priced at CNY 1,998 (Rs.20,100 approx), CNY 2098 (Rs.21,100 approx), and CNY 2,298 (Rs.23,100 approx).
The sale will start at 10:00 am CST (07:30 am IST) on July 8 in China via online websites. It will be available in two color options like Carbon Black and Violet.
