Vivo iQoo Pro launched with Snapdragon 855 Plus chip and more

The Chinese smartphone company Vivo has launched a new Vivo iQoo Pro 5G Edition in China. The device also comes in 4G-only option. It comes with a bigger display with a waterdrop-style notch, flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and decent battery capacity. The 4G model price starts at CNY 3,198 (Rs.32,300 approx) for 8GB/128GB variant. While the 12GB/128GB variant has been priced at CNY 3,498 (Rs.35,300 approx).

Whereas, the 5G Edition price will start at CNY 3,798 (Rs.38,400 approx) for 8GB/128GB model. The 8GB/256GB and 12GB/128GB variants will be priced at CNY 3,998 (Rs.40,400 approx) and CNY 4,098 (Rs.41,400 approx). The 4G version of iQoo Pro will go on sale from August 29, 2019. While the 5G variant will be available from September 2, 2019.

The phone runs on Funtouch OS 9 on the top of Android 9.0 Pie. It features a 6.41-inches Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 1080×2340 pixels resolution. It offers an in-display fingerprint sensor and powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC. The handset is paired up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage option. Meanwhile, the storage isn’t expandable. The device is packed with a 4,500 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.

On the front side, the device features a 12MP selfie camera with Dual-Pixel technology along with AI modes. While the rear packs a triple camera setup with a 48MP, a 13MP wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. While the phone includes NFC, a 3.5mm audio jack, and Hi-Res Audio support. The phone measures 158.77×75.73×9.325mm.
