WhatsApp Beta v2.24.1.18 is debuting the functionality for enterprises to attach a verified badge to their WhatsApp channels.
It looks like WhatsApp is evaluating this capability which will enable channel admins to showcase a verification checkmark on their channels.

WhatsApp is meaningfully bettering the visibility of channels for enterprises. The verification badge will provide them more prominence and trustworthiness, making them simpler to come across on the platform. While still in progress, this should launch to all consumers in the near future.
The verification checkmark signifies the channel is real and improves the business’s credibility. This will assist companies differentiate themselves and be spotted more straightforwardly by consumers searching WhatsApp. Although not publicly available yet, the stable version should release this capability soon.
