Xiaomi Mi Box 3 gets second Android 9 Pie update (OTA 0 Beta 1 Hotfix)

Xiaomi has recently rolled out the first Android 9 Pie update to its Mi Box 3 via the beta program in the US. But it’s not clear that why the company has released the first beta in the US because right now, Xiaomi Mi Box 3 gets the second Android 9 Pie update (OTA 0 Beta 1 Hotfix). So, if you’re using the Mi Box 3 (Android TV Box) then you can easily enroll in the beta program to receive the latest update via OTA.

As we all know that the beta program always is focused on the future stable release so each and every user should get a stable and optimized user experience along with the improvements or changes also. It’s also worth mentioning that the first beta update (OTA 0 Beta 0) was quite stable and bug-free. Therefore, Xiaomi is rolling out the 2nd Android Pie (OTA 0 Beta 1 Hotfix) update to fix the screen-casting issue only.

Now, if you’re already encountering screen casting issues with the Chromecast or smartphone apps such as YouTube then you should grab this update to fix the particular problem. A couple of days ago, a Reddit user /u/Askmetech has shared the first beta update screenshot that includes Android 9 Pie OS and Mi Remote App usage for the Xiaomi Mi Box 3.
