Xiaomi developers have had their hands full with the security updates in January and another name has been added to the list as the Chinese OEM starts rolling out the January 2022 Security Update to Mi 10i users. Currently, the update is only available for users in India, and other regions are expected to receive the update in the coming days and weeks.
The new Mi 10i update is based on Android 11 firmware and it can be easily identified as it comes with the build number V12.5.4.0.RJSINXM. It is worth noting that the software package is pretty big and weighs around 2.9 GB in size. The update will come with the new security standards, although the changelog doesn’t mention if there will be any additional changes or features. However, the Mi 10i users can expect improvements that increase the stability and performance of the device.
