Moto G6 Plus: Everything we know so far about the upcoming Moto G

Motorola launched the latest smartphone in their Moto G series last year and there were two different lineups in the Moto G series last year known as the Moto G5 series as well as the Moto G5s series. Now, as far as the Moto G5 series is concerned, the smartphones in this lineup were launched as the successors to the Moto G4 smartphones. Later, the company decided to launch the Moto G5s series which was an upgraded lineup after the lineup of the Moto G5 smartphones. Talking about the Moto G5s series, the Moto G5s Plus from Motorola is now the flagship smartphone from the company, launched with a dual camera setup.

Talking about the next lineup of smartphones from the company in the Moto G series, it is certain that the successors to the Moto G5S smartphones will be named as the Moto G6 smartphones. As far as the Moto G6 series is concerned, the lineup will have smartphones like the Moto G6 Play, Moto G6, and the Moto G6 Plus. As far as the smartphones this year from Motorola in mid-range series are concerned, the Moto G6 Plus will be the flagship Moto G smartphone from the company.

As far as the Moto G6 Plus is concerned, we have known that the smartphone will have a full-screen display on the front which will be an 18:9 aspect ratio display as seen on the other budget smartphones launched this year by Honor and Xiaomi. Also, there will be a dual camera setup on the back of the Moto G6 Plus and the design of the smartphone is expected to be similar to the Moto G5S Plus.

Also, the fingerprint sensor on the front will be a bit narrower than the Moto G5s Plus along with a Motorola sign rather than Moto engraved above the fingerprint sensor. As far as the release date is concerned, Motorola is expected to launch the smartphones at the MWC 2018.
