Android 12 update for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is now live in India

Earlier this week, Samsung pushed the Android 12 update for the Galaxy S20 FE (4G version) users in the United States. The OEM has now started rolling out the update in India as well. The 5G-enabled Galaxy S20 FE users in India have already started receiving the Android 12 update, and now, the 4G version has too joined the party.

The latest OTA update for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE rolling out in India with the firmware version G780FXXS8DUL6. It brings the One UI 4.0 skin that adds loads of new features and improvements and the Android 12 goodies.

The One UI 4.0 update brings a polished UI, Color Themes, Extra Dim feature, Multi-Window support, RAM Plus feature, Gallery enhancements, new AOD options, Samsung Keyboard enhancements, new privacy feature, and more. Samsung has also added the December 2022 security patch in the latest build for Galaxy S20 FE, which is rolling out in India.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Android 12 update

While the Galaxy S20 FE users in India receive last month’s security patch with the latest update, the South Korean firm has already started sending the January 2022 security patch to several regions. It includes Greece, France, Luxembourg, Italy, Slovenia, Poland, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and the Baltic. Hopefully, It will also reach India in the coming weeks.

Last year, Samsung released the Galaxy S20 FE with Android 10 out of the box. Soon after the launch, the device got upgraded to Android 11, and now, it is receiving the second major OS upgrade in the form of Android 12.
