Oppo has started spinning out the September 2021 security patch update to Oppo A53. The update is based on ColorOS 11.1 (Android 11). The update brings software version CPH2127_11_C.16.
The update is around 599MB in size. This update is very important as it brings several bugs fixes. The update also improves the security and system stability of the smartphone. The update claims to fix the USB connection issues when the phone is in optimized night charging mode.
Manual update guide
So, all the interested users may have to wait for the OTA update notice. Additionally, users who have opted for the trail can manually check for the OTA update via Settings – Software updates – Download updates manually. If available, you can manually download and install the latest OTA update.
It is always recommended to have a stable WiFi connection while downloading the firmware and should have the phone charge at least up to 50%-60%.
