Developed and published by Bungie, Destiny 2 is a popular free-to-play online multiplayer game that came out in 2017. The FPS game features both PvE and PvP elements that share the world with others. Over the years, the developers of Destiny 2 have added numerous updates to the game. The latest one was The Witch Queen and it is considered to be the most successful expansion pack in the history of Destiny 2 with over 1 million pre-orders.
Destiny 2 players getting Armor stat rolls too low from XUR
Similar to the case with almost every game, the players have started complaining about issues. Some of the common ones included Reclaiming Europa Salvation mission getting bugged or the Wellspring Deepsight weapons having low drop areas. Now, the players have started reporting that the armor stat rolls on Xur and other vendors are too low issues have popped up as well.
Many believe that the armor stats are too low to the point that buying armor from vendors has become pointless now. Reports state that the issue has been affecting players for around 2weeks and that all armor stats have been set at 48.
Bungie team has acknowledged the issue and is working on a fix
Thankfully, a Senior Community Manager at Bungie has finally acknowledged the issue and mentioned that the developers have started investigating the issue where Xur and other vendors were selling low armor stat rolls. Once the development team has fixed these issues, they’ll let the players know. Moreover, this doesn’t necessarily mean that Xur will be getting the highest stat rolls every week once the issue is fixed but they’ll definitely be higher than 48.
However, the officials didn’t share any specific timeframe on when the bug will get fixed. You should keep a close eye on the matter and it is expected to be fixed shortly, which means you wouldn’t have to wait long until you can start playing Destiny 2 again.
