Galaxy M12 receives September 2022 security patch

Samsung has just released the September 2022 security patch update for the Galaxy M12. The update, with the version number M127FXXS3BVI1, is now being pushed out to users. Those countries which are now receiving the update are: Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Trinidad & Tobago.

Because of the size of the update, you’ll need a strong Wi-Fi connection and more than 60% battery backup to successfully download and install it. It’s important to remember that this is an OTA update that’s being rolled out gradually across the country, so it could be a few days before it’s accessible to everyone.

Changelogs

The security update for September 2022 offers a number of changes and improvements to the user interface. According to Samsung, their most current security patch fixes 24 vulnerabilities across all of their devices, including 21 significant ones.
