Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra get March 2021 security patch update

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra are now receiving March 2021 security patch update. Starting with Galaxy Note 10, the company has already rolled out March 2021 security patch for a bunch of phones and continues to add more and more devices to the list.

This is just a security patch update therefore does not brings new features apart from fixing the security bugs. The latest software update is hitting Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra users with firmware versions N981BXXS1DUC1 and N986BXXS1DUC1 respectively. The update is currently rolling out in Europe with a package size of about 170MB. 

According to Samsung, March 2021 security patch fixes 4 critical and 26 high levels of CVEs, thereby increasing the system security. Both the devices have already been updated with Samsung’s latest custom skin, One UI 3.1. To update your Samsung smartphone with the latest package, navigate to Settings >> System update, then tap on Download and install.
