Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy A32 5G join June 2022 security update party

Samsung is speeding the rollout of the June 2022 security patch as two new devices have also started getting the latest security update. The Galaxy S21 FE has now joined other S21 series phones as the device is also getting the June 2022 security patch. Galaxy A32 5G is another device that is picking up the newest security update.

The latest software update for Galaxy S21 FE can be identified by the firmware version G990EXXU2CVF1, while the same for the Galaxy A32 5G carries the firmware version A326KKSU3BVF1. The June 2022 security patch for Galaxy phones includes dozens of fixes from Samsung and Google in order to enhance system security and privacy. The device stability is also getting a boost here.

As always, the rollout will be limited to certain markets at first. In this post, the update for Galaxy S21 FE is currently rolling out in Thailand. While the June update for the Galaxy A32 5G is currently limited to South Korea. It will surely expand to more regions in the coming weeks.

If you are a Galaxy S21 FE user in Thailand or a Galaxy A32 5G user in South Korea, the update might hit your phone anytime soon, if it has not reached yet. Therefore, keep an eye out for the update notification. Alternatively, you can update your phone by navigating to Settings >> Software update and tapping on the Download and install button.

Samsung released the Galaxy A32 5G last year with Android 11 out of the box. In April this year, it received its first major Android OS update in the form of Android 12 which came with One UI 4.1 skin at the top. The Galaxy S21 FE, on the other hand, was released earlier this year with Android 12.
