Samsung has already rolled out the March 2022 security patch for a bunch of its recent phones, and now the four-year-old Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ have joined the party as well. It’s good to see such long software support for Android devices.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are reportedly receiving the latest software update in Germany. It should expand to more regions in the coming days. The latest OTA update brings the March 2022 security patch, which includes fixes for over 50 vulnerabilities related to system security and privacy.

It is a minor security patch update for both the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. Therefore, don’t expect any new features or changes on the UI level. Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ users in Germany have started picking up the March 2022 security update. It might take a couple of days to reach all the users.
