Galaxy S9 users in India are finally getting Android 10 (One UI2.0) Update

Samsung has finally started rolling out the much-awaited official Android 10 stable update with One UI 2.0 to Galaxy S9 users in India. Many Galaxy devices have already received the update and now the Indian Variant of the Galaxy S9 joined the list.

The update is being released as a stable update and will be available to all Galaxy S9 users in India. The beta test of Android 10 for Galaxy S9 has been undergoing for a couple of weeks and finally, the stable update is being pushed. The new Android 10 update weighs in at around 1.8 GB.

This is a major update for the device. It brings the latest January 2020 security patch to the device as well as the latest One UI 2.0. You can manually check for the update from Settings > Software update >Download updates manually. If there is no update showing on your device, then wait for a few days for the update to come to your device as it is being released phase-wise manner.

This new update comes with software version DTAA/DTA5/DTA3. As Indian units of Galaxy S9 come with Exynos chipset, the software build number is exactly the same as the European Exynos model of the Galaxy S9.

Samsung Galaxy S9 users who have opted for the beta test of Android 10, are also reportedly getting the same DTAA/DTA5/DTA3 OTA update. The OTA update is around 137 MB in size.
