Honor Play 9A is now receiving a new software update in China. The update mainly installs the February 2021 security patch which improves device security by fixing 2 Critical, 26 High levels, and 77 Medium levels of CVE’s, publicly known as security vulnerabilities.
The latest build for Honor Play 9A is rolling out in China with software version 3.1.0.181. The changelog does not mention any other changes apart from security improvements.
Honor Play 9A users in China who are still waiting for the latest build can manually check the status by heading to Settings >> System & updates >> Software update >> Check for updates. You can also update your Honor smartphone using the Support app. For this, navigate to Support app >> Services >> Update >> Check for updates.
