According to the changelog shared by Huaweiupdate, the new OTA update does not bring any other changes, apart from the October 2021 security patch. The security patch fixes 1 Critical, 27 High, and 2 Medium levels of CVE’s (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) to improve the system security and privacy.

Honor Play 9A was released last year with Android 10-based Magic UI 3.0. It is a pocket-friendly phone that has a 6.3-inch IPS LCD panel, Helio P35 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage.
