A comprehensive guide to Hard reset/ Factory reset Honor 8x: The Honor 8x was recently launched by Huawei (September 2018). It has created loads of hype since its release as the device is offering some greats specs and features in a very budget price. The Honor 8x comes equipped with a large 6.5inches IPS LCD display (1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5: 9 ratio). The smartphone is powered by an Octa-core Hisilicon Kirin 710 (12 nm) processor coupled with Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. It comes with 4/6GB of RAM and 64/128GB internal memory which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

The Honor 8x runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 out of the box. It houses a 4750 mAh Non-removable battery. It also has a Fingerprint sensor on the rear side of the device. The Honor 8x sports a dual camera setup on the rear side [20 MP, f/1,8, 27 mm (wide) and PDAF 2 MP, depth sensor] and 16 MP front shooting camera. Method: 1

Hard reset/ Factory reset Huawei Mate 20 Pro

  • Go to the Settings of your device.
  • Now Scroll down and select System option
  • Tap on Backup and Reset option
  • Choose  Factory data reset
  • Select the option ‘Erase Internal Storage’ and then Click Reset Phone
  • A new window will appear, click Reset Phone Again and wait for the process to finish.
  • Once done, your device will be boot up. Done!!!

Method: 2

  • Boot your device into stock recovery
  • Now Select Wipe data/ factory reset (use vol keys to navigate and power key to select)
  • Done!! Once the process finishes, your device will boot up into factory settings.
