Trying to update my NXT-AL10C00B182. There is an “Updater” in Settings, but no “Manual Update” in the menu: There is only
        – Download latest full package
        – Update settings (where you allow for downloading when on WLAN)
        – System Information.
        Any hint?
        Thanks, Otthein

You indicate that the OTA update contains only the zip compressed update.app? OTA update for Marshmallow has more than 1.3GB for my G8 with tons of files. update.app has about 50MB. I would assume something is missing if I ignore all other files. And my experience is: If OTA fails, update via dload folder does the same.

Hi, have you find the solution? I have other updates (Nougat) OTA that are three zip files, these include several other file types.

    1) Go to http://www.hihonor.com/in/support/
    2) Download firmware as per your device [ size around 1.5 GB ]
    3) Extract that and there you will find another file Sdupdate… Extract it too…
    4) now you will have dload folder in it containing update.app [ size around 3.4 GB ]
    5) copy that complete dload folder in your sdcard
    6) boot to your recovery mode [ vol up + vol down after reboot ]
    7) Let it update …. Done !!!

[[[[ if any problem then wipe the cache ]]]]
