How to remove MIUI ads on a Xiaomi device In 2019

A couple of months ago Xiaomi MIUI users have reported that the MIUI system ads are appearing everywhere and seem so annoying for the interruption. Xiaomi basically pushes ads to its user interface to generate revenue as Xioami don’t charge anything for the system or its platform. The company offers a clean looking fully-featured and lightweight custom skin to its devices. The software updates, inbuilt cleaner, security scanner, themes, etc are available without any cost. Users get support via Mi Forum or MIUI Community app as well. But due to the annoying advertisements everywhere in the MIUI system, causing a distraction to the users. Here in this guide, we will share How to remove MIUI ads on a Xiaomi device.

The Chinese tech brand Xiaomi holds around 9.7% global smartphone market share. Most of the Xiaomi and its sub-brand devices are running on Android OS on top of MIUI skin. While a few device models running on Android One based Stock UI. Therefore, most of the MIUI users are receiving non-stop advertisements like skippable ads, video ads, and more. Fortunately, some of the flagship MIUI devices aren’t showing that much of ads. Meanwhile, you can also remove system ads on a Xiaomi device.

Why Xiaomi is loading ads so much for a sudden?

The previous generation MIUI 8 and MIUI 9 system didn’t load that much of advertisements. Therefore, users didn’t feel or notice any kind of forcefully pushing ads issue or annoyance before. But in MIUI 10 version, Xiaomi has offered too many ads which seem forcefully done by the company. Just like Google and Amazon brands, Xiaomi also is an internet brand. The company has started its business by developing MIUI skin only for Android devices in China. Then Xiaomi has entered into the mobile market competition in China and now it’s popular worldwide for its value for money devices. Whereas the Android users consider MIUI as one of the best and polished custom skins after OxygenOS.

The company has revealed earlier that it maintains hardware profit margin cap at up to 5% which is quite low and that’s how Xiaomi can deliver so budget-friendly affordable smartphones. Even other accessories and gadgets from Xiaomi also comes in a competitive price tag. Now, it’s totally clear that the brand can’t survive with that low margin only. Therefore, Xiaomi partners up with other brands, app developers, and advertisements to generate respectable profit.
