Huawei is all set to launch the Mate 40 series on October 22. The lineup is expected to include 3 models: Huawei Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, and Mate 40 Pro Plus. Today, a Huawei device bearing model number NOH-NX9 appeared on Geekbench and that is believed to be the Huawei Mate 40 Pro. The Geekbench listing reveals some key specifications of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro.
As per the listing, Mate 40 Pro will be powered by an octa-core Kirin 9000 processor which is the first Kirin processor based on 5nm architecture. The source code of the page reveals that the chipset will be paired with Mali-G78 GPU. Further, the listing reveals 8GB of RAM, however, we may see more variants at the launch.
In the Geekbench tests, the Mate 40 Pro has managed to score 1020 points in the single-core test and 3710 points in the multi-core tets. The handset will run Android 10 and features 5G connectivity.
Previous leaks suggest that the Mate 40 Pro may come with a dual punch-hole selfie camera and a large circular camera module at the back to house 4 camera sensors. The rear camera setup might feature a 108-megapixel primary camera. The Mate 40 series will be a flagship series from the company that may feature a 66W fast charging.
