Huawei Mate40 series launch date set to October 22

Huawei has finally announced the launch date for its upcoming Mate40 series. The launch event will be live on October 22 at 14:00 CEST that converts to 5:30 PM in IST. Apart from the launch date, Huawei did not reveal any details about the Mate40 series.

Some past reports suggest that the company will bring 4 devices under its Mate40 and these are – Mate40, Mate40 Pro, Mate40 Pro+, and a Porsche Design Mate40 RS. These are said to be powered by HiSilicon Kirin 9000 chipset. The handsets may feature a 66W fast charging support which recently appears in 3C certification.

Leaked render of the Huawei Mate40 Pro shows a curved edges display and dual selfie camera. Around the back, it may feature a round-shaped quad camera module with a big bump. More details should surface online as we are more than a week ahead of the official launch.
