Huawei has started sending the October 2021 security patch to the MatePad T10s users via a new OTA update. This is in fact the company’s first smartphone to receive the October 2021 security patch, even before the high-end devices.
The new update has started rolling out pretty soon, after the company released the September 2021 security patch. It comes with the software version EMUI 10.1.0.196 and has a download size of just above 200MB.
According to the changelog shared by Huaweiblog, the update does not bring anything more than just a new security patch. So, don’t expect any major changes like performance improvements, new features, or UI changes.
Huawei will update a limited number of Huawei MatePad T10s users in the coming days. A broader rollout can take a few weeks. Meanwhile, you can manually check for the new software update using the steps mentioned below.
