Huawei Nova 5z officially bags the latest January 2022 Security Update

Huawei has started rolling out the new January 2022 security patch update for the Huawei Nova 5z handsets with the new HarmonyOS. The latest update will prioritize the installment of the latest security improvements and offer better system security. The new January 2022 Security Update will arrive with the latest HarmonyOS v2.0.0.211, the successor to v2.0.0.210. Moreover, the update will also include the security patch fixes for 4 CVEs in the framework, 5 CVEs in the application, 10 CVEs in the system, and 111 CVEs in third-party libraries.

Aside from featuring security improvements, the update will not bring in any specific changes to the smartphone. Meanwhile, the firmware version has also been upgraded to increase productivity and improve performance.
