Huawei has started rolling out a new update to Huawei P30 and Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G. In China, both the devices are seeing Harmony OS 2.0 beta update.
FYI, Huawei started the beta test program of HarmonyOS 2.0 for Huawei P40, P40 Pro, Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro, and MatePad Pro. The beta test sign up program is live till January 31, 2021.
Now the users who have opted for the beta test are getting the Harmony OS 2.0 beta update on their Huawei P30 and Mate 30 Pro. The update brings build number 2.0.0.33 and it is around 4.03GB in size.
The update is being rolled out in some regions as an OTA. If you own the device, you should check whether your device has received the update or not. You can manually check for the update, go to System > Software update > Check for updates. If the update is not available in your region, just wait for few more days. There is another way to update, open HiCare app > Update > Check for updates.
