iQoo 3’s UFS 3.1 storage speed seems much higher than Xiaomi Mi 10’s UFS 3.0

The iQoo 3 is all set to launch in India pretty soon. It will be available for sale via Flipkart and iQoo’s official website. Whereas, the handset is expected to launch on February 25, 2020, in China. The device will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, UFS 3.1 storage, 48MP quad rear camera setup, up to 12GB of RAM, 55W fast charging support, etc. Now, talking about smartphone performance in the storage department, there are some leaks that come out.

The iQoo 3’s UFS 3.1 flash storage performance seems quite higher than the Xiaomi’s Mi 10 series. According to the WHYLAB on Weibo and shared images, the iQoo 3 reaches 2.9GB/s on paper and has a sequential read of 1772.65MB/s. This is an increase of 137.2% with a random read of 286.03MB/s (an increase of 99.8%). We’ve already shared the Geekbench testing image of the iQoo 3.

Now, the interesting thing is that Xiaomi Mi 10’s UFS 3.0 flash storage performance in sequential reading is 1756MB/s and the random reading is 236MB/s. This seems quite lower than the iQoo model. But we need to wait for more leaks or reports about the flash storage performance.

Till then, stay tuned.
