LG G8X ThinQ launched in India with Dual-Screen and Android 9 Pie

LG has announced LG G8X ThinQ at IFA 2019 Berlin that features a detachable dual-display smartphone. Now, after a couple of months, the device has launched in India under the Rs.50,000 price range. It’s one of the best and affordable dual-screen Android smartphones that you will get at a very competitive price tag. The device was launched in November 2019 that offers IP68 dust & water-resistant and MIL-STD-810G compliant rating.

It’s priced in India at INR 49,999 and available only in a single color and storage option right now. You will get the device in the Aurora Black color option from December 21, 2019. It has all the flagship-grade specifications that you will find on any other premium smartphone. Let’s take a look at the device specifications.

It has a 6.4″ OLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio (1080×2340 pixels) and features Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection, DCI-P3 100%, HDR10, Always-on display. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie on top of LG UX 9.0 right now. We can expect that the device will receive an Android 10 update in 2020. It has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ (7nm) processor, Adreno 640 graphics, 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage (MicroSD up to 1TB via hybrid slot).

The phone packs dual rear camera 12MP+13MP sensor and a 32MP selfie camera. It has a 3.5mm audio jack, DTS: X Surround Sound, Wi-Fi (dual-band), Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, NFC, FM Radio, Type-C, USB OTG. The device features a fingerprint sensor (under-display), an accelerometer, a gyroscope, ambient light, proximity, compass sensor, barometer. There is a 4000mAh battery with a 21W fast charging option.
