M015GXXU3BUH1 – Samsung Galaxy M01 July 2021 security update

Samsung Galaxy M01 is receiving a new software update that brings July 2021 security patch. The smartphone is making a jump from April 2021 security patch. Even after this, the device would lack the newest security patch, which Samsung has been rolling out since the last week of July 2021.

The new software update for Galaxy M01 is rolling out in India. It is bundled with firmware version M015GXXU3BUH1. As of now, we don’t have the complete changelog, but the new build does not bring anything other than just a new security patch.

The July 2021 security patch for Samsung phones fixes over a dozen of vulnerabilities to improve system security and privacy. The update has already started hitting Galaxy M01 Indian units. It may take few days to reach all the units. Meanwhile, you can manually check for the latest update by heading to Settings >> Software updates.
