Oppo rolls out May 2020 security patch update for Oppo F9 and F9 Pro

Two Oppo devices Oppo F9 and Oppo F9 Pro have started getting the latest May 2020 security patch update from Google. The update is based on Android 9 Pie over the top of ColorOS 6.

The update will bump the software version to CPH1823EX_11_C.20. It is currently being rolled out Via OTA (Over-the-air). It weighs in at 117MB.

The update brings system stability and performance improvements. It also addresses various bugs which were present in the previous update. It also improves the system security of the device. So we highly recommend users to update their Oppo to latest security patch updates.

Now, there is no download link available at this time. So, all the interested users may have to wait for the OTA update notice. Additionally, users can manually check for the OTA update via Settings – Software updates – Download updates manually. If available, you can download and install the latest OTA update.
