Motorola starts rolling out the Android 12 update for Moto G50 5G users

For the past few months, Motorola has been releasing the Android 12 update for Moto smartphones. The OEM released the major update for the vanilla Moto G50 handsets in April and now, the 5G model is getting the update too.

If you own a Moto G50 5G, then you’ll be able to upgrade your device to the new Android 12 software. The update comes with numerous exciting features, improvements, bug fixes, and more.

Motorola is rolling out the new software update with the build number S1RS32.38-20-7 and it weighs approx. 1.31 GB in download size. Currently, the update has only been rolled out for a limited number of users and more users will be receiving it eventually. When downloading the update, make sure you’ve connected your device to a high-speed Wi-Fi connection and have ample battery backup to seamlessly download and install the update.

If you own a Moto G50 5G and are waiting for the Android 12 update to arrive, you can finally upgrade your device to the new version. If you aren’t seeing the Android 12 OTA notification yet, you can just head over to Settings -> System -> Advanced -> System Updates and then look for the new updates.
