N770FXXS8EUG3 – Galaxy Note 10 Lite August 2021 security update

Samsung started the August 2021 security update rollout in the last week of the month, which has now reached over a dozen of Galaxy phones. Now, it’s Galaxy Note 10 Lite’s turn to receive the newest security patch update.

As per the latest information, Samsung is sending the new update to Galaxy Note 10 Lite users in Brazil, which is bundled with firmware version N770FXXS8EUG3. We can expect it to start rolling out in other regions over the next few days.

August 2021 security patch for Samsung phones fixes 40 system security and privacy vulnerabilities. It’s recommended to install the update as soon as it pops up on your phone. You can manually check for the new update on your Galaxy Note 10 Lite by navigating to Settings >> Software updates

Samsung released the Galaxy Note 10 Lite last year with Android 10 out of the box. Earlier this year, it received Android 11 as the first major upgrade for the device. The phone is likely to receive another major OS upgrade, however, an official list of Android 12 supported devices is still awaited.
