Ever since Nokia as a brand was bought by HMD Global last year, it has been seeing new heights with each and every passing day. We have already known by now that the company had released their latest smartphones in the Nokia series earlier this year which were the first smartphones by the company to be powered by Android and also the fact that these smartphones are manufactured by HMD Global and sold via Nokia brand around the world. Now, the latest smartphones to be released from Nokia were the Nokia 3,5 and 6 among which the Nokia 6 is the flagship mid-range smartphone this year.
Now, the company later launched the Nokia 8 and the Nokia 7 smartphones also but the Nokia 6 from the company remains to be the best mid-range smartphone in terms of specifications as well as price. Now, the company has also promised that all the smartphones in the current lineup will have latest updates released as quickly as possible and it is also known that the company has mostly been keeping up to its promise. The latest security patch updates have already been released on all the Nokia phones as soon as they are released by Google.
Now, the latest Android Oreo update was also released by Google and we have seen some of the smartphones like the Galaxy S8 and the OnePlus 5 getting the Android Oreo beta update and now it is time for Nokia 6 to get Android Oreo beta update as well. The announcement of the Nokia 6 getting the update to Android Oreo beta via the Nokia beta labs program was tweeted by Juho Sarvikas who is the Chief Product Officer, HMD Global.
