Nokia Expands Android 13 Rollout to XR20 5G

As part of its ongoing efforts to bring the latest software to its devices, Nokia has continued its rollout of Android 13, with the XR20 5G being the latest device to receive the stable update. This marks the second major update for the XR20 5G, which was initially released in 2021 with Android 11 on board.

The Android 13 update for the Nokia XR20 is now live in India and Egypt, with users in other regions expected to receive the update in the coming weeks. This update comes with build version V3.220 and weighs in at a hefty 2.30GB, including the November 2022 security patch.

New Features in the Nokia XR20 Android 13 Update

This update brings a plethora of new features and enhancements to the XR20, including a revamped color palette, the ability to set per-app language preferences, improved notification permissions for greater control over app notifications, and increased privacy and security measures. The update also introduces a redesigned media player with full-display album artwork and a dynamic playback bar.

Users in India and Egypt can access the Android 13 update for the Nokia XR20 via an over-the-air update, with users in other regions expected to receive the update in the near future. It is recommended to back up any important data and ensure that the device is charged to at least 50% before attempting to install the update.
