Nothing Phone (1) Gets Latest January 2023 security Update

Nothing has confirmed that it won’t be releasing the Phone (2) in the near future, and will instead focus on updating the Phone (1) with new features and innovations through its Android 13-based Nothing OS 1.5 beta update. Recently, the company also released a software update for the Phone (1) in the international market, fixing system stutter issues and adding support for the Nothing X app.

Most recently, Nothing is pushing a January 2023 update for Nothing Phone (1) with Android 12 based Nothing Phone (1) 1.1.8 Update. This update requires a minimum of 75.61MB of storage space and includes the Nothing X app on the Nothing OS, as well as general bug fixes and an issue that causes the system to stutter.

The update also includes a January 2023 security patch, which improves the internal framework and system stability for a safer and more reliable experience.
