One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI soon arrive on Samsung Galaxy S23 Series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and more

With the release of Samsung Galaxy S24 series smartphones, the OEM also introduced the Galaxy AI features back in January 2024. Now, if you’re not using the Galaxy S24 lineup models, you may not be able to get a taste of Galaxy AI. But that’s not the case anymore. It looks like One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI soon arrive on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and a few other device models.

Recently, Samsung has announced its Galaxy AI features to additional Galaxy devices apart from the Galaxy S24 models. From March 28, 2024, Samsung will start rolling out the One UI 6.1 update that includes the Galaxy AI features to the respective device models such as Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5.

In addition, the One UI 6.1 update will also arrive for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S9 Plus, and Galaxy Tab S9 (Wi-Fi version) from this week onwards. Previously, Samsung has announced that the Galaxy AI features will be free to use and more device models will be included until the end of 2025. That indicates Samsung may charge some bucks after the given timeline for its Galaxy AI features because more AI options will be introduced.

However, Samsung hasn’t mentioned anything specific about the upcoming AI features and payment options yet. It’ll be too early to say anything regarding the costs of Galaxy AI features by the end of 2025. Till then, you can try accessing Galaxy AI features to enjoy its full capacity. Now, it’s time to update to One UI 6.1 and enjoy its AI-powered goodies.
