OnePlus starts rolling out the OxygenOS 12 C.47 update for OnePlus 9 Series

Recently, OnePlus released the C.46 OTA, which was a small update for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro handsets. Now, a new update has started rolling out for the OnePlus 9 Series handsets and it comes with the C.47 version number.

This update will come with the latest March 2022 Security Patch, numerous bug fixes, and a few improvements. The update will be available for users in North America and Europe as it comes with the build numbers LE2115_11_C.47 (NA) and LE2113_11_C.47 (Europe) for OnePlus 9 and LE2125_11_C.47 (NA) and LA2123_11_C.47 (Europe) for OnePlus 9 Pro respectively. The update will come with a software package that weighs 4.1 GB in size, so remember to connect your device to a high-speed Wi-Fi connection and have ample battery backup to download and install the update seamlessly.

The OxygenOS C.47 update will see OnePlus addressing fixes for the issue of the operator’s name getting displayed incorrectly as well as a low probability issue that meant the user was unable to send MMS. The new update will upgrade the security to March 2022 Security Patch while also improving the overall system security. The update also sees OnePlus optimizing the fluency of taking pictures.

As this update is being rolled out via OTA, the update will reach a handful of users and a much wider release is expected to happen in the coming days. Any OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro user can manually check for the update manually by simply heading to the device’s Settings -> System -> System Updates.
