Oppo A9 launched in India with good specifications in terms of the price tag. The handset comes with a 6.53-inches full HD+ display along with 1080×2340 pixels resolution quality. It has a waterdrop notch and a 90.70 screen-to-body ratio, protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It runs on ColorOS 6 with Android 9 Pie.
The device is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 SoC along with 4GB Ram. It has 128GB of internal storage. It sports a dual rear camera setup of the 16MP+2MP sensor along with an LED flash. While the front features a 16MP selfie camera with AI modes. The camera also features Ultra Night Mode and the Dazzle Color mode.
In terms of the connectivity options, it includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, Micro-USB, and USB OTG. The device includes an accelerometer, ambient light, proximity, and a gyroscope sensor. It packs a 4,020 mAh battery and measures 162×76.1×8.3mm.
Price and Availability in India
The A9 priced in India at Rs.15,490 for the single 4GB+128GB memory variant. The smartphone will be available for sale in the country from July 20, 2019, in both online and offline stores. In terms of the price tag, A9 will compete with the Samsung Galaxy M30, Honor 10 Lite, Realme 3 Pro, and Redmi Note 7 Pro.
