Oppo has started spinning out the December 2020 security patch update to OPPO F7. The update is based on ColorOS 7 (Android 10). The update brings software version CPH1819EX_11_F.23.
This update is very important as it brings several bugs fixes. The update also improves security and system stability of the smartphone. The new update also optimizes memory utilization for better performance. Along with all these, the update integrates a newer security patch.
Manual update guide
So, all the interested users may have to wait for the OTA update notice. Additionally, users who have opted for the trail can manually check for the OTA update via Settings – Software updates – Download updates manually. If available, you can manually download and install the latest OTA update.
It is always recommended to have a stable WiFi connection while downloading the firmware and should have the phone charge at least up to 50%-60%.
