Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G (Global) spotted on Geekbench with Dimensity 1000+ SoC, 8GB RAM, and Android 11

Last month, Oppo unveiled the Reno5 series in China which includes 3 smartphones: Reno5 5G, Reno5 Pro 5G, and Reno5 Pro+ 5G. Recently, the Oppo Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G bag NBTC certification with model numbers CPH2145 and CPH2201 respectively. Today, the Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G (Global variant) benchmarked on Geekbench. Hence, it seems that the Reno5 series will make its global debut very soon.

Geekbench listing reveals that the global variant of Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset, the same chipset used in the Chinese variant. The device has 8GB of RAM and boots Android 11 out of the box.

The Reno5 Pro 5G has a 6.55-inch OLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The top-left punch hole cutout on the is the home for a 32MP selfie shooter. Reno5 Pro comes in two memory configurations: 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB with no additional storage slot.

Around the back, Reno5 Pro has a quad-camera setup that includes a 64MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone packs a 4,350mAh battery and supports 65W fast charging, and reverse charging too. Other notable specs include an under-display fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth v5.1, and supports Wi-Fi 6.
