Android 13 was officially released almost a year back but there are many devices that are yet to receive the stable update. This list includes Oppo smartphones as well. However, each month the list is getting smaller and it has happened yet again.
Three Oppo smartphones have received the Android 13 update as Oppo has started rolling out the stable Android 13-based ColorOS 13 update for Oppo A53s 5G and Android 13 beta version for Oppo A57 and Oppo A77.
Oppo releases stable Android 13 update for Oppo A53s 5G
The latest Android 13 update has become available for Oppo A53s 5G and it has started being pushed for users in India. More regions are expected to receive the update in the coming days and weeks.
The update is rolling out with the build number F.30 and is available on ColorOS 12 build C.16/C.17. If you own an Oppo A53s 5G and you are from India, you should expect to receive the Android 13 update notification soon. As this is a batch rollout, it might take a few days.
Oppo releases Android 13 Beta for Oppo A57 and A77
Oppo has also started released the first batch of ColorOS 13 beta/Android 13 beta for Oppo A57 and Oppo A77 users in India. As usual, the test build is available to limited users up to 5,000 users. For A57 users, the beta will be available between April 23rd, 2023 to April 27th, 2023. The users who wish to apply for beta need to update to A.30 build before applying. Meanwhile for Oppo A77 beta, the users must be on the A.30 build to apply for the beta update. The company will accept beta applications till April 27th, 2023.
If you’re an Oppo A57 and Oppo A77, you can apply for Android 13-based ColorOS 13 update. For applying for the beta update, head over to Settings -> About device -> Tap the top of the page. On the software page, you should tap the icon on the top right and then select Trial Version. Here, you’ll be able to apply for the update.
