OnePlus reportedly starts pushing the new OxygenOS 11 A.14 update for OnePlus Nord 2 users

OnePlus has started pushing yet another software update to the Nord 2 devices, which the users were still waiting to receive the promised “optimized mode” via OxygenOS 12. The new update will essentially reduce the power consumption and improve the back-end management for overall improved performance. Although it appears that this is OnePlus’ way to optimize the system even more before introducing the toggle for disabling throttling.

Many OnePlus Nord 2 users on the OnePlus community have started reporting that they have received the new update. OnePlus is yet to officially address the release of the software update, which also includes a security patch. This seems like a staged rollout, which essentially means that the update will reach a handful of users and a much wider release is expected to happen in the coming days and weeks. Any OnePlus Nord 2 user can manually check for the update manually by simply heading to the device’s Settings -> System -> System Updates.

The users may not see the update on their OnePlus 9 or OnePlus 9 Pro smartphone yet as it is being rolled out in stages, but it’ll definitely arrive in the coming days or weeks.
