For the first time in a while, Xiaomi is speeding up the release of new software features. Xiaomi has now added the POCO F2 Pro to the list of devices that will obtain the June 2022 security patch.
The update is currently only available to Pilot testers, but it is expected to be made available to the general public within the next few days. The POCO F2 Pro’s firmware has been updated to version V13.0.2.0.SJKMIXM, which is 3.4 GB in size.
According to the changelog, there are no new features in this update, only the most recent security patch. The POCO F2 Pro’s June 2022 security patch addressed a number of security-related issues that improved the device’s performance.
In order to download the new update for the POCO F2 Pro, go to Settings >> Software update and select Download and install. If you want to do it manually, you can download the 3.4 GB Recovery ROM and install it that way, but make sure to back up your data first and do so at your own risk.
