Yesterday, Realme CEO Madhav Seth during the 26th episode of Ask Madhav announced that Realme 7 Pro will get Realme UI 2.0 stable update this month. But, hours after this, the company started pushing Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) update to Realme 6 Pro and Realme 7 Pro users.
Both the smartphone undergo Android 11 beta testing last year and stuck there for a good amount of time. Users were eagerly waiting for the stable release and the wait is now over. The news is exciting but not that much for Realme 7 Pro users, as the update does not bring AOD customizations and Edge lightning feature.
The Android 11 update for Realme 6 Pro comes with firmware version RMX2061_11.A.49 while that for Realme 7 Pro users comes with version RMX2170PU_11.A.37. As usual, the update is rolling out in a staged fashion which means that it will reach a small percentage of Realme 6 Pro and 7 Pro users. This is usually done to confirm that the package has no critical bugs. Once the company confirms this, then it will plan a broader rollout.
