Realme has started sending the October 2021 security patch update to Realme C12 and C15 users. The new OTA update is currently rolling out in India and should expand to other regions in the coming days.
The November 2021 software update for Realme C12 and C15 was announced through blog posts (1, 2) on the Realme community. As mentioned in the changelog, the update brings November as well as the October 2021 security updates. The devices are also getting improvements to system stability and performance.
Realme is sending the new OTA update to Realme C12, C15 users in a staged manner. It means that the update will initially reach a limited number of users, followed by a broader rollout in the coming days. It is a minor security patch update, that does not bring any new features or changes to the user interface.
Realme C12, C15 users in India, who are still in queue for the new update should manually check for it by heading to Settings >> Software updates. It is tagged with the firmware version RMX2189 _11.C.09 and RMX2180 _ 11. C.09 respectively for Realme C12 and C15.
