Realme Pad, Realme C15 pick up July 2022 security update

Realme recently rolled out the July 2022 security update to a couple of its phones, and the list is growing as the days go by. The latest Realme phones to receive the July 2022 security update are the budget-friendly Realme C15 and the company’s first tablet – Realme Pad.

The latest software update for the Realme Pad and Realme C15 brings the July as well as June 2022 Android security patches. It fixes numerous vulnerabilities to improve user privacy and data security.

The latest OTA update for the Realme C15 comes with the firmware version RMX2180_11_C.13. On the other hand, the LTE and Wi-Fi variants of Realme Pad are receiving the update with firmware version RMP2102_11_A.08 and RMP2103_11_A.08, respectively.

As revealed in the changelog, the Realme C15 is also getting system performance improvements. While the Realme Pad is getting system stability improvements and fixes to some known issues.

Realme C15 is an entry-level phone which was released in 2020 with Android 10 out of the box. The device has already secured its first OS update in the form of Android 11. Realme has not confirmed whether the device will get the Android 12 update or not. However, various reports believe that Android 12 is not coming to Realme C15.

Realme Pad came last year as a budget-friendly tablet. It was released with Android 11 out of the box. The device is eligible for the Android 12 update. But there’s no official timeline as to when the update will start rolling out.
