Realme C12 gets stable Android 11 update with Realme UI 2.0 skin

Realme C12 is now receiving stable Android 11 update which comes with Realme UI 2.0 skin at the top. The update is currently rolling out in India which can be identified by software version  RMX2189_11_C.04.

The smartphone was launched back in August 2020 with Android 10 OS and now receiving its first major OS upgrade in the form of Android 11. As this is a major upgrade, you will need to download a big chunk of data, over 600MB. It is always recommended to download such bulky update over a Wi-Fi connection.

The Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) update for Realme C12 brings a bunch of new features and improvements which include Chat bubbles, customizable AOD, improved dark mode, notification history, and optimizes system performance, stability, face unlock speed, and crashing issue. In addition to these changes, the update adds May 2021 security patch and fixes a couple of issues which you can read in the changelog given below.

    • Fixed the issue that the flashlight is not bright enough in some scenarios

The Android 11 update for Realme C12 is currently rolling out in India and should start reaching other regions in the next few days. To manually check for the latest update for your Realme phone, navigate to Settings >> Software updates.
