Realme actively rolls out monthly security updates to its eligible devices. The March 2022 security patch arrived on dozens of Realme phones, and now the brand has started rolling out April 2022 security patch. Realme Narzo 20 is the company’s first phone to receive the latest security patch update.
The latest OTA update for Realme Narzo 20 comes with RMX2191_11_C.16. For now, it is rolling out in India and should cover more regions in the coming days. According to the changelog shared by RMUpdate, the update brings March, as well as, April 2022 security patches. The device is also getting improvements to system stability and performance.
Realme Narzo 20 was launched in 2020 with Android 10 out of the box. It is eligible for the Android 12 upgrade. However, the company is yet to reveal any timeline for the next major upgrade for the Narzo 20.
Realme Narzo 20 Pro, on the other hand, has already joined Realme UI 3.0 Early Access program. Hopefully, the company won’t take too long to start the Realme UI 3.0 beta program for the Narzo 20 too.
The April 2022 security update for Realme Narzo 20 should be rolling out in a staged fashion. Hence, it may take a couple of days to reach all the users. Meanwhile, navigate to Settings >> Software updates to manually check for new updates.
