Realme X3, X3 SuperZoom receiving the January 2022 security patch update

Realme’s January 2021 security patch update is rolling out at a good pace. It has already been rolled out for over a dozen phones, including the Realme V15, X7 Pro Extreme, Narzo 30A, and more. And now, Realme X3 and X3 SuperZoom have joined the party with the latest update.

The latest OTA update for Realme X3 and X3 SuperZoom is tagged with the firmware versions RMX2083_11_C.11 and RMX2085_11_C.11, respectively. According to the changelog shared by RMUpdate, the update brings December 2021 and January 2022 android security patches, thereby improving the system security and privacy.

The new package has a download size of about 700MB. It’s recommended to download such a large-size update over a stable Wi-Fi connection. The update also incorporates system stability and performance-related improvements.

Realme X3 January 2022 security update

The January 2022 security update for Realme X3 and X3 SuperZoom is currently rolling out in India. It will soon expand to more regions in the coming days. Meanwhile, you can manually check for new updates by navigating to Settings >> Software Updates.

Realme X3 and X3 SuperZoom are also on the list of eligible devices for the Android 12 upgrade. According to the official roadmap, the company will start the Realme UI 3.0 early access beta program in Q2 2021. We’ll keep you updated on this with the latest information.
