As Instagram doesn’t have a dedicated reverse video recording function, we will gonna use Snapchat app to do this, and then you can easily upload that video to Reels.

  • Open the Snapchat app -> Tap on Snapchat Camera.
  • Once the video recording starts, swipe from right to left side to add filters on your video.
  • Simply choose the Motion Filter after the Color Filter by swiping.
  • You will need to swipe 7 times to get Reverse Filter.
  • Once you’ve applied the reverse filter on your video, simply tap on Save.
  • It will download the video on your device.
  • You’re done.

Now, launch the Instagram app -> Tap on the Camera button -> Select Reels and upload your recently recorded video with Reverse filter. That’s it.
