Realme is sending a new software update to Realme 7 Pro that mainly brings May 2021 security patch for enhanced system protection. Additionally, it fixes some known issues and improves system stability.
The update is rolling out in India with firmware version RMX2170_11_C.21. Since this is just a minor security patch update, you don’t need to spend much data, just 16.58MB to be precise. The Realme 7 Pro received Realme UI 2.0 update last month, and therefore it is already running on Android 11 OS.
Security patches are important for the smartphones as it fixes known security vulnerabilities. Therefore, it is always recommended to keep your phone updated with the latest security patch available. As usual, the latest update is rolling out in batches, which means a small portion of the total user will receive the update initially. After this, the company plans for a broader rollout. So, it may take a couple of days to reach your smartphone.
